Travel Insurance

Medical Expense Benefit $10,000:

•The insurer will pay for necessary medical expenses incurred by you provided initial treatment was received within one day of the accident or onset of sickness.

Emergency Medical Transportation $20,000:

• Covers evacuation and transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility.

Baggage & Personal Effects Benefit $500:

• Reimburses you if your baggage is lost, stolen, or damaged while on your trip.

Baggage Delay Benefit $100:

• If your baggage is delayed more than 24 hours, you will be reimbursed for the purchase of essential items.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment $25,000:

• Covers death and loss of limb or eyesight within 180 days of an accident.

Trip Cancellation & Interruption 100% Trip Cost : The insurer will pay this benefit up to the maximum limit shown on the Schedule of Coverages and Services if a trip is delayed, canceled, or interrupted due to:

• Sickness, Accidental Injury or death of you, your Traveling Companion, Family Member or business partner. (Certain Restrictions Apply)

• You are hijacked, quarantined, required to serve on a jury, subpoenaed.

• Your principal place of residence made uninhabitable by fire, flood or other natural disaster.

• Burglary of your principal place of residence within 10 days of departure.

• Strike that causes complete stopping of services.

• Weather which causes complete stopping of services and prevents you from reaching your destination.

• You or your Traveling Companion being delayed by a traffic accident while en route to a departure, in which you or your Traveling Companion is directly or not directly involved.

Note: Problems of distance, information and communication make it impossible for Arch Insurance Company or Travel Guard to assume any responsibility for the availability, quality, use or result of emergency service. In all cases, you are still responsible for obtaining, using, and paying for your own required services of all types.

PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS EXCLUSION:

Pre-Existing Conditions means the Insurer will not pay under any coverage for any claims arising from an injury, sickness, or other condition of yourself, a Traveling Companion or a Family Member within the 60 day period before your coverage began under this protection plan which: (a) first manifested itself or exhibited symptoms which would have caused one to seek diagnosis, care or treatment; (b) required taking prescribed drugs or medicine unless the condition for which the prescribed drugs or medicine is taken remains controlled without any change in the required prescription; (c) required medical treatment or treatment was recommended by a physician.

This is only a brief description of the insurance coverages available under the policy. The policy contains reductions, limitations, exclusions, and termination provisions. Full details of the coverage are contained in the policy. If there are any conflicts between this document and the policy, the policy shall govern. Not all coverages are available in every state.

Excess Insurance Provision: The insurance provided shall be in excess of all other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity and shall apply when such other benefits are exhausted.
